Centre for Ministerial Formation
Preparing for ordained ministry is a challenging, enriching and transforming experience. The Centre for Ministerial Formation in Queen’s brings together those students training for recognized, public ministry in the Church of England, the Methodist Church, Wesley Holiness Church and the Church of God of Prophecy. It offers training in full-time and part-time modes, including residential, part-residential and non-residential forms.
Ministerial training at Queen's
At Queen’s we recognise that Christian ministers today lead and serve diverse congregations, in the midst of communities with unheard of cultural and religious diversity. That’s why it’s vital to be able to hold our own belief and practice with total integrity, while exhibiting God’s grace and generosity in our relationships inside and outside the church.
We think Queen’s is the place to learn how. The Queen’s community draws members from five continents and sits in the middle an extraordinarily diverse city. You won’t agree with everything you hear in class, but we think God uses our diversity to teach us about himself, and about how we can disagree on some things and still live together as the loving body of Christ.
Queen’s is a place God can use to develop and form you for life and service.
