The Queen’s Foundation seeks a full-time tutor to join its team of Centre Directors. The new appointee would take on, as soon as is possible, a leading role and responsibility in the recruitment, teaching and support of the growing number of students studying independently at Queen’s, those who are not sponsored for ordination/ ministerial training and not on Black Theology-focused programmes in the Centre for Black Theology. You would make a major contribution in helping the institution move into the next phase of its life as a vibrant location for creative, stretching, contemporary, mission-focused theological learning and exploration.
The staff team includes ethnic and gender diversity as well as lay and ordained staff. Queen’s is committed to nurturing the vocations and gifts of Black and Asian Christians, so we welcome applicants from all ethnic backgrounds.
The successful candidate is likely to be an experienced teacher/tutor/lecturer, and is likely to bring experience of having already managed academic programmes. We are especially looking for a person with experience in e-learning, though the role is not focussed wholly on online learning.
