Formation in World Mission (FiWM) is a Methodist initiative designed to resource continuing training and education for discipleship and mission in a global and globalized context.
Is FIWM for you?
FiWM can help to put together professional, dynamic and effective cross-cultural training with solid practical and theoretical foundations.
FiWM is particularly supportive of fresh initiatives in mission which seek to:
- engage effectively with situations of poverty, exploitation and conflict;
- develop constructive ecological and environmental initiatives;
- re-model discipleship and evangelization in light of global injustices and perspectives of marginalized people.
All grants must further the purposes of the Fund for World Mission.
FiWM aims to nurture role models, risk-takers, leaders, catalysts, thinkers and activists committed to working collaboratively within community and across thresholds of culture, language, ideology, religion, economic and social class.
FiWM will give priority to applicants with least opportunity for travel and international encounter.
