Mission and Leadership Formation
MA in Applied Theological Studies(MAATS)
Who is it for?
Experienced practitioners who wish to expand and deepen their leadership in mission as they extend their studies in a cross cultural context.
What does it offer?
- a 1 year full time course validated by the University of Birmingham.
- tutors and course members from partner churches across the world
- a course particularly suited to people seeking vocational and professional development
- opportunity to do independent, supported research
- emphasis on relating thought to practice and building upon prior experience
- course structures with choice and flexibility
How do I apply?
The degree is used specifically by USPG and the Methodist Church in their scholarship programmes. If your home church is in partnership with these two bodies, you should approach your head of church for support. However, it is possible to apply as an independent student and we would welcome enquiries from you on r.padley@queens.ac.uk
What qualifications do I need?
- undergraduate degree in theology or religious studies
- others, with some theological education and a degree in another subject may, by agreement, be admitted.
- IELTS 6.5 English score
How much will it cost?
