Level 2 & 3 - Diploma & Degree levels
Level 2 - Diploma
Level 2 of the BA programme seeks to provide a flexible framework by offering 40 credits focussing on core skills, and a further 80 credits tailored to foster the student’s professional and theological specialization.: for example, students sponsored to prepare for ordained ministry will study modules which emphasise the skills, knowledge and personal qualities required for such ministry.
Level 3 - Degree
As with Level 2, Level 3 study provides a flexible framework by offering 40 credits focussing on core skills, and a further 80 credits tailored to foster the student’s professional and theological specialization. A central element of Stage III is the requirement that students engage in an extended piece of individual research, by dissertation and/or through a practical placement. Students sponsored for ministerial training are advised to make their choices in consultation with the guidance of the Director of Studies, in order to comply with the professional requirements of their sponsoring church. However, the academic requirements of the programme do not limit the choice of modules.
