Dave Allen

David teaches Biblical Studies modules and Greek at the Foundation, where he is also Director of Studies for the MA program. He has a particular interest in the letters at the end of the New Testament, notably the Epistle to the Hebrews, and is concerned that they get a hearing in the life and practice of the Church. Much of his research concerns the way in which the New Testament uses the Hebrew Scriptures, and the intertextual reading strategies this generates. He is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature, the Society of Pentecostal Studies, and the Tyndale Fellowship.

A keen cricket fan, David waits daily for his call-up to the England test match team.
