Black Theology and Christian Formation
The Foundation is unique in placing Black and Asian theological studies within the core of its curriculum. The perspectives and critical challenges of Black and Asian theologies permeate the curriculum for all students, enabling the Foundation to develop inclusive and liberative theologies for multi-cultural Britain. The presence of this staff team also enables the Foundation to be a unique resource for the supervision of post-graduate and research degrees in areas of Black and Asian theologies, and mission and ministry in multi-cultural contexts. Members of the staff team lead a Black Theology Research Forum, which is part of a wider Black Theology forum, both of which enable the sharing of experience, ideas, and research interests to provide mutual support and stimulus. Two members of the team lead the production of the Black Theology: An International Journal .
