The Church of God of Prophecy began to encourage individuals to study and learn at the Foundation in 2005.  The Church values the ecumenical character of the Foundation, its diverse membership, and its commitment to contextual theology.  Bishop Wilton Powell (national training officer) became a Governor of the Foundation in 2007 and discussions progressed about how Queen's could be a learning and teaching resource for the Church's ministers and pastors.

Two pathways are possible for those wishing to develop their theological education and ministerial development.

A pathway in the MA in Applied Theological Studies for Leadership Development.

This pathway focuses on innovative approaches to ministry, acquiring strategic leadership skill to develop and implement vision of the church, and helping ministers and pastors to reflect theologically on their existing ministerial practices and work.   Three modules focus this:

Experience, Liberation and Transformative Ministry which will enable you critically to examine ways to evaluate, develop, strengthen and integrate theological inquiry and understanding into congregational ministry that will engender transformation.

Leadership, Strategy and Vision will help you to develop new skills and insights for leadership and enable you to reflect deeply on your experience and practice of leadership.

Professional Development in Ministry is designed so you can choose an area of professional practice for exploration, reflection and study with peers and tutors.  The chosen professional practice will be in an area of either worship, or community projects, or public ministry.

Two core taught modules on Contextual Theology and Reflective Practice support this pathway, and the MA is completed by a 12,000 word dissertation.  The MA is usually taken part-time over two years, or possibly three, with teaching times designed for those in full-time employment.  The Core modules are usually taught on Wednesday evenings in the Autumn and Spring terms, and the pathway modules are taught either on Wednesday evenings or on Saturday day schools.
