Donations policy

The Queen’s Foundation library welcomes offers of unwanted books and journals. Please forward a list of items to the librarian for consideration, either by post or by email. Details of books should include Title, Author, Publisher, and Date. The librarian will select items on the basis of the library’s acquisitions policy. Other than in exceptional circumstances no payment can be offered, and all costs (of delivery etc) must be met by the donor.

If it is not possible to provide a list of items, then please phone the librarian to discuss the collection on offer.

Items which are not wanted by the library may be offered to the student book steward to be made available to students. Contact details are available from the librarian.

Please do not deposit collections at Queen’s other than by prior arrangement.
