Theology for life: lay theological education
Do you want to deepen your understanding of the Christian faith? Do you want to think deeply about what Christians have thought over 2,000 years about God, the bible, Jesus, ethics, worship etc? Whether you are new to theological study or want to take your studies another stage, there is something at Queen’s for you.
Studying at Queen’s will stimulate and stretch you. Whether this is studying for an award from a Certificate to a Degree, or simply studying subjects that most interest you – Queen’s has much to offer. You may have completed a local church course like Alpha or Emmaus and want to go further. You may have no church or faith commitment but are interested in what Christians believe and want to study this. Entry to our courses and programmes is open to all who wish to learn and who are willing to do this in the context of a community of teachers and learners who are committed to Christian faith and practice.
Learning for Discipleship
If you want beginners and 'taster' courses and do not want an award or even to do written work, you should contact Liz Howlett for further information about the courses offered in partnership with the diocese of Birmingham, and which are normally delivered on the Queen's campus in Edgbaston. In order to encourage you to take up theological study you can take modules for as little as £80 so find out more and sign up!
