We are currently seeking a Director of Research to oversee our work with our group of around 40 research students, and to develop the research work undertaken by Queen’s. Our research work includes two partnerships with institutions in Rwanda and Sri Lanka.

We seek a ‘mid-career’ scholar whose primary interest is the development of others, either as researchers or as members or ministers in churches who are undertaking specific projects to enhance their discipleship, ministry or understanding of faith. The successful applicant will recognise the importance of good partnership working (we work with the Vrije Universiteit [VU] Amsterdam) and clear, well-run procedures, alongside the excitement of enabling a wide range of students at different life-stages, and from diverse backgrounds and contexts, to explore new topics of relevance to church and society.

No specific theological specialism is designated for this post, although the successful applicant will be invited to share in teaching and curriculum development in their specialist area across the Foundation.

More details of the post can be found by clicking on this link. A full, detailed job description can be found here.

Applicants are asked to complete the application form and send it with a letter indicating how your qualities, skills and experience enable you to fulfil the role description and person specification for this post. You may also send a CV to accompany your application, though must not use the CV as a substitute either for the form or the application letter.

You are also asked to complete a monitoring form. This will be detached from the application papers and play no part in the short-listing process.
