Illustrative admission process
The information below provides you with an overview of the admission process for most students. Applications are made to The Queen’s Foundation directly, not via the UCAS system.
Please note: this illustrative process does not apply to all study routes. Those training for ordination, or seeking to pursue doctoral study, should refer to those study route pages for more information about the admissions process.

Enquiry
To start your enquiry please complete our online enquiry form. We will then contact you with more information. You may be invited to attend an Open Day or to have an online meeting with one of our Centre Directors to discuss your study options.
Application process
We will send you our online application form to complete. You will be asked to provide evidence of your qualifications, English ability if required, references and proof of right to study in the UK. If you have not already had a meeting with one of our tutors, you will be invited to attend one.
Consideration
Your application will be considered by an admissions panel. If the panel requires more information to make their decision, we will contact you.
Offer Letter
We will issue you with an offer letter containing full details about the programme of study you are being offered, the fees, and information about how to accept the offer.
Confirmation of acceptance
You will need to accept your offer using the form provided. The Centre with which you are to study will provide you with information about your programme of study, the student induction process and your start date.
Induction
At your induction you will receive further information about your course, Moodle (our Virtual Learning Environment), and student life and study at Queen’s. Induction might take place online or in person depending on your mode of study.
