Full and part time information
Within Higher Education, each credit is considered equivalent to 10 hours of study. Therefore a 10 credit module involves 100 hours of study (made up, for example of: 15 hours of lectures, 30 hours of guided reading and 55 hours of independent study, preparation and work on assignments).

Formational requirements for sponsored ministerial students
In addition to the academic demands, sponsored ministerial students may complete additional modules on a not for credit basis. Full time sponsored ministerial students are required to offer 6 hours per week to their link church work, and part time students, 3 hours per week. Sponsored ministerial students are also required to be present at Queen’s for formational activities which include: personal tutorials, small groups which meet for prayer and support, attending and leading worship, and a pattern of shared meals.
