If you would like to get a real sense of what a Queen’s Online course would be like, the Queen’s online taster course: 30-day free trial introduces multiple aspects of theological study in engaging and interactive ways designed to fit flexibly around your schedule and commitments. It will allow you to experience first-hand key aspects of our online courses and get a sense of what study in this mode feels like and how it contributes to your learning, regardless of your potential entry level.
The taster course has four main units which reflect prominent areas of theology and study at Queen’s. Within each unit there are videos to watch, material to read and tasks for you to complete and which you will receive brief written feedback on. The fifth unit encourages you to consolidate your learning into a short theological statement. This is optional but can be used as part of an application to study at Queen’s.
The course can be completed at any point of the year. There are no gathered sessions in the taster course, so you can either simply get a sense of what a Queen’s Online course is like, or complete all the units flexibly within your 30-day trial period – it’s completely up to you. The taster is completely free and does not bind you to any further studies. If you wish to continue your learning beyond your free trial, we will be on hand to offer guidance and support you further.
