Our short courses are a great option for those looking to study with a greater degree of flexibility. They’re set up to be a bit like a ‘choose your own adventure’; you can go where your interests lead you, dive down as deep as you like, engage with as much or as little as you want to, and move ahead when you feel ready. Each one will help you navigate a central faith question, guiding you through four distinct phases of exploration. With a series of short videos, we’ll set out a landscape of ideas you can then revisit and explore further through interactive presentations, videos, readings, links and activities. You’ll also have regular opportunities to reflect on the ideas you are encountering and share your own developing perspectives alongside other learners, receiving input and encouragement from tutors too.
Upon completion of three short courses, you will be eligible to receive a Queen’s Award in Theology. This is award is not university accredited, but you will receive a certificate of study in recognition of your efforts and will and be invited to our annual Foundation Event where you can celebrate your achievement alongside the rest of the Queen’s community.
